Below are the individual bios of the talented group of youths who participated in the first O&U HBCU Tour.

A native of Kankakee, Illinois, Marlon Harrison is the son of Pamela and Marvin Harrison.  Beginning in August 2005 he will enter his Senior year at Kankakee High School (KHS).  During the first three year of his tenure at KHS Marlon was a member of both the Varsity Football and Wrestling Teams, where he enjoyed a great deal of success in both.

In addition to school activities, Harrison is also an active member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church (Pastor Alex T. Bond Jr.), where he serves as President of the Junior Usher Board and was formerly a member of the Junior Choir.  In the community Marlon takes time to volunteer at the Kankakee Area YMCA, where he enjoys serving as a chaperon for various youth events.  In his spare time he enjoys playing the piano, reading, weight lifting, carpentry, and masonry.

Upon graduation in May 2006, Marlon plans to enroll in a four year university where he will major in Mechanical Engineering, while playing collegiate football.  After completing his engineering degree he plans to land a job related to his profession and also work as a high school coach, so that he can stay connected to the youth and give back to the community.
